The tropical yard, solar heated pool and multiple outdoor living areas provide an inviting setting for family entertainment, privacy and tranquil relaxation. There is even a fabulous children’s entertainment area nestled among the trees with a cubby house and seesaw.

Accommodating up to ten guests within its beautifully appointed confines, the house showcases a harmonious blend of contemporary design and spaciousness, with four elegantly appointed bedrooms and three bathrooms makes this the ideal space for holidaymakers to escape and enjoy quality time with family and friends.

Tropicality is just minutes from the best that Nelson Bay has to offer. You can explore boutique shops, beach, and enjoy fine dining in an array of popular cafes, restaurants, bars, and supermarkets in the heart of Nelson Bay.

Flooded in natural light and stunning timber floors, the upper level features an air-conditioned open plan living area with a Smart TV (free access to Netflix and Paramount+ provided), ceiling fans, and a study nook for two persons. There is also a large fully equipped kitchen with complete cooking facilities including gas cooktop, wall electric oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, family size fridge/ freezer with cold water dispenser and ice maker, a Sunbeam Mini Barista coffee machine with coffee provided, and a large pantry with all the cooking essentials provided – making it a beautiful space to prepare meals.
Opening off from the living area is the upper deck area where you can enjoy the garden and pool views from the bar area and stools, shaded by large umbrellas that can easily be set up for your convenience.

Two bedrooms and the main bathroom are also located on the upper level, the main bedroom is complete with a Queen size bed, split system air conditioner, ceiling fan and ensuite with shower, toilet, and single vanity. Bedroom two has a Queen bed and ceiling fan and the main bathroom is fitted with a spa bath that can comfortably fit two-adults, walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity.

On the lower level, there are two more bedrooms and another bathroom, bedroom three has another Queen bed with split system air conditioner, ceiling fan and bedroom four offers a Single bed plus the flexibility of the option of a second Single divan bed which transforms from a Single bed to a King bed plus a split system air conditioner and ceiling fan. The third bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity.

The second living area has been created as a game room for children and children at heart with a Smart TV, ceiling fan, PlayStation 4 with 4 remote controllers and a wide range of PlayStation games (solo and multiplayer, for both adults and children), a large chalkboard, books, and several games for inside or outside. The game room can be turned into a fifth bedroom if required as the sofa can be converted into a double bed (better suited for kids). Unlimited NBN internet access with Wi-Fi is offered at the property.

Relax and enjoy the garden and pool views from the undercover entertaining area complete with dining for up to twelve people, lounge sitting area with wall mounted Smart TV, state-of-the-art gas BBQ facilities, and an outdoor fridge to keep refreshments cool in the heat of the summer.

The pool is solar heated by a heat pump and has sun loungers to allow you to soak up the sunshine and laze the day away, as well as a large floating bean bag that will ensure hours of water fun or relaxation. Flowing down the yard further takes you via the fire pit area, where firewood is provided, and to a tranquil swing where you can sway in a world of your own. The path leads you to the ultimate children’s play area with a gorgeous cubby house and seesaw – the kids will absolutely love this place!

The property provides a huge internal laundry with a front loader washing machine and dryer and parking for up to three vehicles or boat.

We had a Lovely time at this Beautiful Home! Perfect location to beaches activities and close to many places to have breakfast lunch and dinner many choices, close to shopping. Many beaches close and bush walks. Highly recommend staying perfect for family’s pool was a hit with the kids cubby house and the kids room was also a hit with the kids. We will be definitely be making this our yearly holiday house just perfect.

This is the second year my family has spent the April school holidays in this excellent well-fitted out holiday house. It’s ideal for families with young children, taking daily advantage of the heated pool (which did feel a little cooler than last year). No surprise then that we have rebooked for April school holidays next year. A unanimous decision!

We loved our stay at Tropicality. The house is so thoughtfully done up - it has a clean, roomy, beach house vibe. The facilities are excellent, pool, bbq, games room and great kitchen! It's very close to town but feels like a relaxing oasis away from the bustle. The area is great, with so many activities for the kids. I wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely come back. Thank you for lovely holiday!

We had a wonderful weekend at this Airbnb in Nelson Bay. The house was very comfortable, with high-quality bedding and a well-equipped kitchen. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The children enjoyed the game room, outdoor facilities, and the pool was very pleasant. Additionally, the house is conveniently located near the city center, shops, beaches, and attractions like the dunes. We highly recommend this spacious accommodation; we had a great time as a family!

The accommodation was sensational! great spaces in the living room, big rooms and comfortable beds. Loved the outdoor area with the barbecue and pool. Very clean and very well furnished. The kids loved the pool and kids house in the backyard. Definitely one of the best accommodations I have stayed in.

Gorgeous place for a family get together

We were impressed by the design and attention to detail, all furniture is brand new. The house is very comfortable, we felt at home straight away, the kitchen has everything you need (it was great not to worry about essentials for cooking for our short stay). But what really stood out were the outdoor areas 🤩 we felt like in a botanical garden and the heated pool was a bliss. Kids couldn’t get out of the cubby house. Will definitely book again next year.
