Beached Inn, 93 Foreshore Drive – Spacious beach front house

We stayed for 8 days in early May 2025, I didn't want to go home. This place is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Very clean and all amenities you need. McGrath were awesome to deal with very friendly staff. I have stayed in a lot of places and dealt with a lot of realastates, I have to say this is the best by far. Highly recommended Beached Inn. Wonderful location to have the water front right there as your back yard. We had 2 small children so the calm waters were perfect for them. House was what we expected, clean and most items in good working order. Pleasantly surprised to find games and surf skis for use.

This property is spacious, in a great location. Its an older property that has had some renovation, beds are comfortable, fans in rooms and good size yard road side with gates and beach side at the front. This property could do with some maintenance to fix cupboards that dont close, remotes that dont work etc. Instructions for appliances and wifi /smart tv would add to the experience. Dining table sticky even after wiping it. Loved watching the sunrises and sets and walking the beach

Family and friends have booked this house for the past 11 yrs and we always love it. Such a great location and house. The owners have updated the house since we first started staying here which is nice. We have noticed this trip that the bottom bedroom needs somewhere for clothes as the wardrobe has gone. The remotes need some new batteries but these are all small things. We will be booking again for next year.

I have visited this location several times and enjoy it more and more each time. Beautiful location, beautiful house, plenty of amenities and very helpful staff from O'Mearas a Nelson Bay.

Amazing location, good staff, big & roomy premises.

Right on the water with incredible views across the Bay. 'Beached Inn' is a large, spacious house with stylish inclusions, large bedrooms and a beautiful verandah to relax while taking in the amazing views. A nice, sandy foreshore is only metres away from the back doo as well !

We had a great stay at Beached Inn. The house is really well equipped and has everything for old and young alike! Def rebooking!

Wonderful location and views. Comfortable but really needs maintenance throughout the house. Needs heaters in all bedrooms during winter time.

House was amazing, view was amazing BUT the neighbours are extra sensitive to noise

We had 8 adults stay for 3 nights and had plenty of room .Property had everything you could want, it was like being at home with anything and everything at your finger tips and as for the location......FANTASTIC.Being so close to the water was therapeutic for those that needed it and exciting for the young adults men to paddle board on,fish,swim and party near.We will be back.

Beautiful location. Very comfortable plenty of space we had 4 adults 2 children. House is a little dated but no issues as you get lost in the amazing view. Wonderful assistance by real estate easy check in and out process. Thank you will definitely stay again.

Great location with beautiful views,watching wildlife passing by. House is very well equipped but a little tired in some places. The reasonable tariff reflects this. Have no hesitation in recommending this property for people looking for a very comfortable, convenient property without the huge price tag.

Great location, right on the beach. The porch was by far the best area of the House. Slightly run down and outdated property but it is great value. Perfect for a big family due to the 4 bedrooms. Pros: 2 bathrooms Right on the beach Spacious house 2 lounge rooms Pool table/air hockey/table tennis Large windows overlooks the beach Air conditioner Large kitchen Cons: Heating does not reach all the rooms Poorly maintained Outdated and overdue for an update

Amazing place. beach is quiet and the locals friendly. we had a great time fishing and swimming. The deck and front yard it great for kids to play. fit 7 people (4 adults and 3 kids) very comfortably. will def be back

Great setting right on a shallow kid friendly bay. Tons of room. Two large living areas plus internal and external dining. We had problems with the wire and main doors out onto the deck and it was very difficult to carry stuff in and out as either doors could slam in any minor breeze. And the base of the main door gets caught on the floor. Definitely needs repairs here preferably to a pressurised closing system on both. Had a great experience walking about 100 metres back along Foreshore Dr to an area where we saw a koala. Only minor but a tv arial in the corner just inside the window would be good so we can watch from the dining table - eg cricket etc

Private and quiet location. The views from the house and the deck are beautiful and add to the comfort/feel of the house. Nice walks straight out the back door - no need to get in a car to go anywhere. Abundance of lounges was appreciated - no need for anyone to sit on the floor. Only minor problems - had to replace globes, some chipped crockery and rusted baking trays. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for 3 nights at this property and we loved it. Perfect location and central to everything, the views were amazing and the kids had a ball. Pillows and quilts need to be upgraded and the bathroom and showers needs locks for privacy. Other than that would recommend this place

This is the third year we have returned to the Beached Inn, you instantly relax when you arrive and my family and friends had a wonderful time. A few minor things need to be updated (microwave, toaster and bin in the kitchen) and fixed around the house, fans and front screen door. Also the split system dripped on one of my guests and the back of the lounge. But in saying that a fantastic location to relax and chill out.

Great family holiday right on the child friendly beach. Large living and dining area in and out). A few little niggles reduces it to 4 stars. Hot water tap in separate toilet but no hot water. BBQ tray had never been cleaned (now is - including grease cup) ) - BBQ hot plates now a lot better (used dishwasher). No number on front of fence. No instructions for oven etc so had to experiment (including fixing clocks). Dishwasher tablet holder doesn't open properly. Some light bulbs didn't work and spares didn't fit. No internet. No ladder to get frisby off roof. Little snooker table has big cuts in cloth. Long electrical extension cord looks dodgy. Some lamps cut in and out. All minor - the place was clean and family friendly All easily fixed items but a bit annoying. We will go back again and with about a $300 a week increase same time next year hopefully these things will be fixed and we wont have to pay for sheets and towels etc.

What a great house and spot. My girl friends and I come every year for a week. Such a great house that can accommodate many people. Always such a great week.
