Bagnalls Beach is a 24hr off-leash beach, so our guest doggies think it’s paradise too.
The house exudes a relaxed ambience. It is spacious and light filled, and all on one level, one step above ground. With a unique layout, the two living areas and kitchen wrap around a private sunny, north east facing courtyard.
Sheltered from winter westerlies and open to cooling north-easterly summer breezes, the grassed courtyard invites alfresco meals and relaxation both summer and winter.
It’s an ideal spot for a game of Boules or Finska, with your afternoon cocktail.
The courtyard gas BBQ is accessed directly off the kitchen, with a retractable awning over the outdoor table.
The courtyard is enclosed by a 90cm high fence, providing security and easy supervision of toddlers and pets.
The large central kitchen is well equiped for preparing a holiday feast, with large oven, family size fridge, dishwasher, microwave and the requisite small appliances. Pantry basics are supplied.
Two spacious, attractively furnished, living areas make it a great multi-generational holiday house. The family room has a split-system air-conditioner, and offers a large smart TV, with Netflix, Blu-ray and DVD player. The front living room has a 10 seat dining table, and an inviting lounge area for quiet reading, or after dinner conversation.
The second and third bedrooms are located at the rear of the house adjacent the three way family bathroom, with bath and shower room, separate vanity area and a separate toilet.
The Master Bedroom, Ensuite and Guest toilet are tucked away at the front of the house, affording privacy and quiet. Lux Australian Botanical toiletries supplied.
LOCATION
Three minutes walk to Bagnalls Beach, a nature lover’s paradise. It has an unspoiled bush backdrop, with a resident flock of black swans, abundant birdlife, and dolphins feeding off the point at dusk.
Bagnalls Beach offers calm, child-friendly swimming or paddle boarding and canoeing.
Nearby Dutchies Beach is a calm protected cove, perfect for swimming at any tide. It is a pleasant ten minute walk away, along the foreshore reserve, shaded by trees, with several lovely children’s playgrounds and picnic areas along the way.
You’ll love morning and evening walks along the beach or the bush track behind the beach surrounded by birdsong, and the everchanging vistas across the bay.
The sunrise and sunset views are magical, and the winter sunsets particularly stunning.
The scenic bayside pathway runs right from our door, via continuous foreshore
parkland, to Nelson Bay village, a 20 minute walk. Many lovely cafes and restaurants to choose from, and boutique shopping for those with a keen eye.
The location is very central. Salamander shopping centre, Nelson Bay Village, Tomaree Aquatic Centre, the Anchorage Resort and golf courses, are all within 5 minutes by car. Shoal Bay, Fingal Bay and the oceanside surf beaches, One Mile and Birubi are all within 10 to 5mins drive, as are most of the major Port Stephens attractions.

Bedrooms 2 and 3 can be made as a 2 x single beds per room. Please advise when booking.
Linen: This property provides sheets and bath towels, pillows blankets and quilts. You’ll find comfortable mattresses made up with flax linen and cotton
Please bring your own beach towels.

Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have extra visitors (this includes day visitors) in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission if the property permits this.
If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies. Noise outside the property is prohibited between 10:00pm and 8:00am.
This property is approved for holiday accommodation only, no extra bedding mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed.
