Two good sized bedrooms with the main having air conditioning, water views and balcony access, modern kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, renovated bathroom with shower and separate toilet, internal laundry with washing machine and dryer, WIFI available, and one undercover secure car space.
All this and only a short walk to Shoal Bay Country Club and pretty much right next door to the Port Stephens Game Fishing Club.
Sounds too good to be true, you'll be pleasantly surprised when you stay at unit 2 Fleetwood.

This property does not include sheets or towels, please bring your own or contact us to organise the linen hire service. The linen service is priced depending on your length of stay, prices start from $28 for a King/Queen/ Double pack and $24 for a Single pack.
Linen Packs consists of 2 flat sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, bathmats, hand towels and tea towels (BYO beach towels). The property provides pillows, blankets, and quilts.
Pets are not welcome at this property.

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies. Noise outside the property is prohibited between 10:00pm and 8:00am.

Stayed 1 week here and really enjoyed our stay. Well equipped , comfortable bed. Feature was the great view and able to sit on balcony for all our meals.
I would not recommend this property in its current state. The location was good but the general cleanliness was very poor, it smelt when we arrived and the apartment had cockroaches in the kitchen, living area and bathroom (basically throughout). We are not talking 1-2 roaches but we needed to kill in excess of 15 a night. I find it shocking that I have been charged a cleaning fee when it wasn't really that clean when I got there. The cleaners had been in but only cleaned what was immediately visible. There were cockroach droppings under the bathroom sink and sand under all the furniture. The place needed a good vacuum and pest spray. I did contact the agent that offered to reimburse me roach spray and the owner has declined to provide any refund . All in all a very disappointing and unpleasant experience.
The apartment was neat and tidy but we were very surprised that we needed to supply so many things. Felt a little like being on school camp. Admittedly this was all noted on the web site and reinforced by the agent. Having to provide your own toilet paper I thought was a bridge too far. It did advertise an iron as part of the items included and despite our search, we were unable to find one which was very frustrating.
The unit was lovely and clean and had a lovely view and the position was very handy to beach, shops, walking and bicycle tracks. Although it is on a busy corner we had no problem during this period. The bed in the main bedroom was one of the best beds we have slept in and we had good night sleeps every night which was so wonderful and you would not normally find very often in holiday apartments. We will definitely return.
