Centrally located in Nelson Bay Port Stephens which is an easy 2.5hr drive from Sydney you can drop your keys at the front door and stroll down to either Shoal Bay or Little Beach.

Nestled on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle, enjoy this unique home away from home feeling, where you can settle in and relax.

This spacious four-bedroom duplex comfortably sleeps eight and has multiple areas for everyone to relax and enjoy their time together or if anyone wants to sneak away and get some quiet time there’s room for this.

The downstairs features polished concrete floors throughout, ducted air conditioning, free unlimited Wi-Fi, ceiling fans and a Smart TV. The property also has a fantastic fully equipped kitchen with a gourmet Breville coffee machine and grinder (coffee beans provided), Smeg appliances, family size fridge/ freezer with water dispenser, gas cooktop, dishwasher and basic pantry items.

Flowing off the kitchen area is the powder room with toilet and vanity and internal laundry with front loader washing machine and dryer – washing liquid provided. Great outdoor living spaces surrounded by tropical styled gardens with alfresco dining facilities, gas BBQ and relaxing sitting area which is perfect for the afternoon cocktail.

There is also an outdoor shower to rinse under after strolling back from one of the close by beaches and plenty of easy flat off-street parking.

The upstairs features four double bedrooms all with wardrobe solutions, ducted air conditioning and ceiling fans, the main bedroom also has a wall mounted Smart TV, ensuite with double rainwater head shower and access to the balcony to allow the breeze to flow through. The main bathroom has a full-size bath, shower with rainwater shower head, double vanity and shampoo and conditioner provided. If you’re working whilst on holidays the property provides a great little study nook.

Whether you fill your day hiking to the top of Mount Tomaree, dive the coral gardens of Fly Point, or discover the rock pools at Boat Harbour, maybe take a stroll to the Shoal Bay Country Club, or head into town for a bite to eat while you take in the sights of the marina after visiting the many boutique shops. You will find this area simply beautiful.

We had the most incredible weekend at Gypsea at the Bay! The home was absolutely stunning – beautifully styled, spacious and had everything we needed and more. The location couldn’t have been better, just a short walk to the water and a close distance to shops and cafes. Enjoying a platter and wine on the deck was such a highlight. The perfect spot for a coastal getaway! Highly recommend.

Perfect home away from home

Upon checking into Gypsea, the entire house was spotlessly clean and the outdoor areas tidy and well maintained. All of the bedrooms were perfectly made up with beautiful linens and towels and the beds were extremely comfortable. What really made Gypsea the perfect holiday home for us were all of the extra touches and attention to detail from the hosts; the lovely decor throughout the property, all of the cooking equipment and appliances we could possibly need and a very well stocked pantry.

Gypsea By The Bay is first class accommodation with everything you could possibly need. Plenty of room & beautifully decorated with a well appointed kitchen. Lovely outdoor areas to dine or relax. Close easy walk to the bay, restaurants & shops made this a truly amazing stay.

Exceptional 5 star accommodation. A most beautifully presented townhouse, ideal for our needs. Plenty of space for the grandchildren and a great location. Well stocked pantry, laundry and bathrooms. We appreciated the personal touches, exquisite styling and beautiful decor. Simply outstanding.

Our family of 5 adult and 2 children spent three wonderful nights at Gypsea at the Bay celebrating 70th and 40th birthdays. The accommodation was superb and ample space for all of us. Conveniently close to the beaches and lots of eating venues. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our Nelson Bay stay and hopefully we will be back again in the near future! Booking, payment and all communication in regard to our stay was easy and very professional. Thank you for a very memorable stay! 😊

Last month we stayed a long weekend at Gypsea at the Bay and would like to compliment you on the beautiful space you have created. The weather was a little cool that weekend however on arrival, our children immediately pulled out jigsaw puzzles, boardgames and a play station while we relaxed, with multiple indoor and outdoor nooks. We were also treated to coffee, wine, snacks on arrival which was a thoughtful touch. The décor, and furnishings were incredibly comfortable and cosy, we were able to read books and really unwind. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ area, cocktail bar, we had everything we needed. There was local information regarding restaurants and activities. The location was also perfect, we walked into Shoal Bay along the beach, through parks and into Nelson Bay. Shoal Bay is such a beautiful location, the waterways are pristine with so many beautiful walks to choose from. We loved our stay and look forward to returning, Thankyou
