Great location. Well positioned car park from there flat for entry for less mobile person staying. Second year we have stayed. This year on arrival very wet on footpath leading up to front door and dampness may be contributing to mould on bedrooms windows and blinds and smell in the unit. The smell and mould were not evident last year. The view is amazing and being so close to the water is very relaxing. The unit needs a good spring cleaning as not as clean as last year. Great to have wi fi.

Thank you Margaret, for taking the time to share your feedback, and we're so pleased to hear that you returned for a second stay and enjoyed the location, view, and easy access for less mobile guests. It’s great to know the Wi-Fi was a welcome addition too. We’re sorry to hear that the unit wasn’t up to the standard you experienced last year. Your comments about the dampness, smell, and mould are concerning, and we take this seriously. We'll be investigating the cause and taking steps to ensure it’s properly addressed. A thorough spring clean is also being scheduled to bring everything back up to the level our guests expect and deserve. We truly appreciate your honest feedback—it helps us improve. We hope to welcome you back again and provide the fresh and comfortable experience you enjoyed during your first visit. McGrath Port Stephens

Hi Marco, Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we're so glad you enjoyed the amazing view! We truly appreciate you bringing the issue with the sliding door to our attention. I completely understand how difficult it can be, especially for those who may have mobility challenges, and I’ll be sure to pass your recommendation along to the owner so they can have it looked at as soon as possible. We want every guest to fully enjoy the outdoor space and the beautiful view, so your feedback is incredibly valuable. Thanks again for your time and input, and we hope to welcome you back soon for another relaxing stay! McGrath Port Stephens

Sliding Door issue

The view was amazing. As discussed with the staff during the checkout process, I indicated that the slidomg door to the deck was so hard to open and even worse to close it. I had to lift the door up whilst pulling it closed. An elderly couple would not be able to open/close this door. I highly recommend that the owner gets someone to look at the door. It would be a shame that someone rents the place but cannot enjoy the outdoor view so they can sit down and have a nice drink. Thanks Marco

EVERYTHING WE NEEDED

We stayed in this lovely unit for 5 weeks and enjoyed it so much we extended our stay! It had everything we needed and the view was fantastic. We spotted koalas, dolphins, and a variety of bird life. The unit itself was well equipped and very quiet. It was a 3 minute walk to the bowling club which was handy for us. The team at McGraths handled our extension seamlessly. Would love to return to this cosy and comfortable little unit.

We had a great stay and appreciated the new kitchen as well as being the best equipped ever! Great view, quiet and private aspect. Good cleanliness. Wifi very slow , often unworkable and shower mould needs treatment. Overall highly recommended and have rebooked.
