Plenty of comfortable accommodation for eight guests spread over two levels, this townhouse is perfect for families and couples.   Entry to the property is from the road and garage level, only one step and you are in the spacious open plan living area with ceiling fans, vibrant cane lounge suite, large flat screen TV, DVD, dining setting and spectacular water views.

Sliding glass doors take you out onto the covered balcony with a stunning outdoor setting, gas BBQ and the relaxing sounds of the ocean.  Very well-equipped stylish kitchen with granite bench-tops, under-bench oven, stove-top, microwave, dishwasher and a family full size fridge and freezer.  The main bedroom is also on this level, this room has a king size bed, linen and bed making, and views over the communal courtyard and landscaped grounds, there is also a stunning bathroom with floor to ceiling tiles on this level with a shower, vanity and toilet.

An internal staircase takes you down to the tiled, air-conditioned family room which has a flat screen TV and lounge.  Sliding doors open out onto the covered patio with sun lounges and an outdoor lounge area to laze back and enjoy the peaceful and breathtaking water views, the only thing between you and the water's edge is the grassed reserve.  Two bedrooms both with linen and bed making are located downstairs and the main bathroom which provides a shower over the bath, vanity and separate toilet.

The property provides an internal laundry with a top loader washing machine, dryer and full ironing facilities and a double lock-up garage.

Salamander Village shops is only a short level walk away where you will find the bakery, local butcher, Chinese and Thai restaurants and the bottle shop.  Soldiers Point Bowling Club is only minutes down the road by car where guests are welcomed to dine in the bistro with a fantastic children's playground.

For the golfing enthused, Horizons Golf Resort is 3.6km away and Nelson Bay Golf Club, CBD and DAlbora Marina is approximately 9.4km from the property.

Peaceful retreat

What a lovely weekend! We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing location looking out over the water watching the kids kayak. The accommodation is fresh, comfy beds and pretty! Great pub and fish and chips close by, we even got to see dolphins. We will be back!

We’ve stayed at this property twice this year, its location is unbeatable—direct beach access makes it perfect for families. The spacious unit offers two living areas for added comfort and flexibility. It’s within walking distance of shops, dining, and wharf, with Private secure parking, so you can explore on foot. Recent renovations, including modern furnishings, fresh paint, and Wi-Fi, have elevated the experience. Overall, a well-appointed property in an exceptional location—highly recommend

The cost was $2436.88. We were expecting something above average for the outlay and found the opposite to be true. Why no wifi in 2021, which was not known! The location was excellent, however location does not compensate for lack of basic living standards. The property interior showed signs of age and lack of maintenance and concern. Appliances were unacceptable. Examples the toaster and microwave were filthy. The dishwasher did not work, nor the vacuum cleaner and a ceiling fan

Upon returning the key at the end of our stay, we mentioned the "issues" we had with the property. The receptionist said that she would pass them on to the Manager. However, she made no notes, nor asked us which property. The answer to this would be to provide guests with a form at the property to list any issues - and then to hand the form into the office afterwards. Foxtel did not work. Dishwasher did not work. BBQ was out of gas (at the end). Dripping water tap outside.
