If the experience of restaurant dining is more your style, then the surf club offers the beautiful Saltwater Restaurant with sensational views overlooking the beach and a fantastic variety on the menu. There is also a children’s playground, shared walking and cycling paths all the way to Barry Park which provides public toilets, BBQ's, and a fantastic place for a picnic with beautiful scenic views from the viewing platform where you can watch the whales go by.
Fingal Bay Sports Club is also located just around the corner and the main street of Fingal Bay is an easy 1km walk away, the shopping strip offers a convenience store, cafes, petrol station, take away shop and bottle shop.
Fingal Bay is home the to ‘Fingal Spit,’ the spit is located at the north end of Fingal and links across to Fingal Island, on low tide you can walk across to the island (with caution) to visit the Fingal lighthouse and the amazing views it offers. Fingal Bay has an abundance of bush tracks to discover with 20km of rocky coastline, ideal for bush walking, fishing, and exploring.
The unit is located on the second floor, there is a large living area that opens out onto the balcony with outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ plate, this is fantastic area for alfresco dining while enjoying the scenery across to Fingal Bay Surf Club. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with complete cooking facilities, dishwasher, microwave, and family size fridge/ freezer.
Three generous size bedrooms with the large main bedroom having an ensuite, ceiling fan, TV, and access to the balcony to allow the natural sea breezes to flow through. The second bedroom also has a ceiling fan, and the third bedroom has a tri-bunk with double underneath and single bed with trundle. The unit bathroom has a bath with the shower above, vanity and separate toilet and internal laundry with a front loader washing machine and dryer.
The complex provides the luxury of a tennis court and communal swimming pool, so you relax back at the complex after a day at the beach. If exercise is on the list, then the cycle/ walking tracks that links Fingal Bay to Shoal Bay and on wards to Nelson Bay is directly across the road from the unit.
