We had a lovely stay at the Helm with my husband and elderly mother. The view was lovely and the bird where fantastic they would come onto the balcony each morning for a feed right out of your hand. Great unit clean and well appointed, I would stay again

The Helm may be a little older in looks but oh my gosh what a view. Everything was clean and well presented and easy to find, short stroll to the beach and again the view.

My family and I stayed for 3 nights at this unit and it was lovely. Very clean, well organised, well equipped and spacious. It had everything you need for a great getaway. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the sound of the waves at night when lying in bed was incredibly relaxing. Check in and out was very easy - no hassles there. Also hired linen which was super easy. Overall, we had wonderful stay and are looking forward to coming back soon

We have been holidaying at Shoal Bay for over 20 years and this is the first time we have rented this property. We found it very comfortable, well maintained and reasonably priced. The fixtures and fittings were in good condition and relatively modern. Although only on the first floor (and therefore doesn't have the views that we are used to), we very much appreciated not having to climb 48 steps to the top floor, which we been doing for many years.
