The Pelicans is suitable for either groups of friends wanting to get away to a hidden beach escape or for families with younger children wanting that holiday where you park your car and everyone will be happy. You can walk down the street and grab your morning paper and coffee or head to Soldiers Point Marina for a perfect evening meal.
Beautifully furnished and large open plan air conditioned living area opens out on the alfresco dining with absolutely stunning water views, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and an internal laundry with a washing machine and dryer. The main bedroom has an ensuite and all bedrooms have the comforts of ceiling fans and the main bathroom has the bonus of a standard size bath.
There are stairs down to the unit from the carpark, once you are in the unit you are right on the waterfront on ground level.
PLEASE NOTE THE GARAGE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS RENTAL. There is one marked car space for parking. Any additional cars are to be parked in off street parking.
$500 SECURITY DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. THIS IS FORFEITABLE IF THERE IS ANY MISTREATMENT OF THE PROPERTY, EXTRA CLEANING AND/OR DAMAGE.
Sheets and towels are not provided at the unit, you have the option to either hire or bring these with you, no pets and no party policy in place.

Noise that can be heard in any habitable rooms of a neighbouring residence is restricted by the following:

midnight - 8am

Move indoors to keep noise levels at a minimum and be thoughtful when using a sound system and abide by noise restrictions.

Great location, comfortable beds, handy to have two bathrooms when you have a large family staying! You need to bring all linen, kitchen towels, towels and bath mats.
My family and I spent 2 nights in this property, but we found the house to be very disappointing. It certainly is in a perfect location, but thats about it Firstly, the strong smell of mould greets you when you open the front door. The whole property is infested with it. Bathrooms, shower cabin, everywhere. Cross ventilation helped a little, but not much. Cleanliness is the next issue. The property is in urgent need of a full renovation, everything is old, strongly used, falls apart or is dirty (e.g. mosquito nets on the windows, both leather sofas are disgusting). Cheap Ikea cushions and mattress protectors in the bedrooms, years old and really should have been replaced long ago. Kitchen equipment old and just disgusting too. To replace a wooden cooking spoon is $5, really! Appliances and technical accessories the same: overused and simply not nice any more. How could this house be called a luxury home? We paid $710 for 2 nights, expecting something more outstanding than this run-down flat.
Great place and layout - the perfect location with kids with beach out the front. Some of the equipment needs an upgrade but otherwise clean and tidy and we had a great weekend.
I booked this home for my extended family to stay in to celebrate my birthday. They loved it. It has stunning views and the perfect access to the beach. The home is very comfortable and fully equipped with everything one needs. It would have been lovely to have WiFi which is the only thing that's missing. Would highly recommend this home.
This waterfront luxury apartment has all the features needed for a relaxing holiday. One small issue is that is is missing a vacuum that works.
We stayed at the property for 5 nights. Great location. Unfortunately, there was issues. The smell of musty mould in the back left bedroom which was awful and "polluted" the entire unit. No one should stay in this room as the mould is present in the cupboard and mould spores can't be good for you. The property was dusty and dirty. Bedside tables, dressers and kitchen bench all were dirty. Fridge has mould. Dvd player has intermittent issues. Windows and window coverings are mouldy also. Dryer door is broken and only works if you carefully adjust it each time you use it. There was no broom in the unit which is not suitable when you have small kids and they bring sand in so i bought one (which i left at the unit for others). O'Meara property was lovely to deal with.
The property actually sleeps eight people in four bedrooms - 2 Queen, 2 singles. And the beds were very comfortable. Great access to beach. Well priced

We have stayed twice now and will be coming back every year, twice a year. It's such a great spot for the kids. Love it!
The beds were horrible though and we ended up shortening our stay by two nights!! If they purchased new beds the place would be amazing.
