Unit 1 Poplars is a stylishly furnished two-bedroom unit located on the hill with panoramic views of Nelson Bay Marina and foreshore from the spacious balcony and open plan living/ dining and kitchen areas.

Unit 1 Poplars is a stylishly furnished two-bedroom unit located on the hill with panoramic views of Nelson Bay Marina and foreshore from the spacious balcony and open plan living/ dining and kitchen areas.

The living area opens out onto the balcony as well, this room is made complete with FREE WIFI, Google Home and a SMART TV so you can access your own Netflix account etc. This area has a split system, reverse cycle air conditioner that covers the entire living/ dining and kitchen area and then flows through to the bedrooms.

The kitchen features high quality stone benchtops, stainless steel fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and electric cooktop.
Both bedrooms are nicely furnished throughout and have ceiling fans and built in robes, the 2nd bedroom also has an XBOX and small TV (only used for connection to XBOX) located in the wardrobe, perfect for the kid's entertainment.

Partially renovated bathroom with bath, shower and gorgeous vanity and basin and the convenience of a separate toilet. American style internal laundry with front loader washer is also available for guests.

Absorb the stunning views from the extra-large, wrap around balcony, relax on the grass area out the front, cook up a feast on the gas BBQ or take a dip in the complex shared pool.

Park the car in the undercover secure carpark and pop down to the main street for a coffee, boutique shopping, restaurants, bars and cafes, water sports activities, dolphin watch cruises and spectacular Nelson Bay foreshore - all this is at your fingertips and all within a ten minute walk.

(f) intentionally, recklessly or negligently damage the personal property of neighbours of the premises or other occupants of a strata or community scheme.

This property is approved for holiday accommodation only, no extra bedding mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed.

After hour emergency service is available 24/7 during your stay.

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies.

The unit was in a great location & it was in good condition, some areas could use a little love especially the windows & doors. McGrath, Nelson bay accommodation staff were very helpful & great to deal with, will certainly use them again.

Thank you to the staff at McGraths for their kind service, particularly to Natalie for having the faulty shower head replaced promptly and to inspect damaged bedroom door. I chose this unit particularly for the elevated water view with ground floor access to a courtyard, parking for our car & boat across the road, walking distance to town. Negatives: No indoor table/eating at breakfast bar most uncomfortable; Vanity basin too high; No bedside lamp 2nd bedroom; Gloomy colour scheme/plain.

Great apartment with amazing views

Great service, apartment was in an excellent location and had everything we needed. It was very clean, comfortable beds and an amazing view. Only small things are would have liked more directions (after hours) in finding the apartment and also car park. Also only one towel per person was a but disappointing given the need to wash and dry the towel for reuse so recommend providing a couple of spare towels.

Spectacular view

The view is absolutely stunning and we enjoyed the lorikeets. The unit itself needs to be maintained better as neither of the bedroom lights worked. There are no instructions for the stovetop and it is impossible to work out so I was unable to cook anything which was really disappointing. There were none of the usual things found in a holiday rental such as soap for the shower, salt,the bins had no liners and there was only one tea towel.

Please note if you do stay with us again in the future and you have a maintenance issue you can call the office and we can get the issue rectified for you. You do receive email correspondence to advise only 1 roll of toilet paper per toilet is supplied and things such as Dishwashing Liquid, Soap Powder, Bin Liners etc are not supplied. This accommodation had beautiful views. The screen to the verandah was not fully secure as you could lock it and just move it. The verandah wasn’t fully yours, anyone could come through it. All cooking items required cleaning prior to use. There was no dryer. The hot water system does not cope with a half size bath and then showering 2 other people. One of us ended up having a cold shower. Cobwebs all outside. It needs a good deep clean. Big cars don’t fit in parking.
