Wanda Magic, 19 Randall Drive – beautiful water front house

We have been renting from McGrath's every few years since 2011: Wanda Magic has become our favourite spot to escape Canadian winters. The property is perfect for a couple, but could actually accommodate up to six guests. The house has two bed-rooms and the separate studio has a king-sized suite with a modern bathroom. (The main bathroom and kitchen have not been upgraded but are perfectly functional.) The location is great: beach views and a small shopping centre nearby. We recommend!

Wanda Magic is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday. The photos do it justice. It located above a small beach perfect for swimming - at high tide - and playing in the sand at low tide. There is a small shopping nearby, a grocery store and a couple of restaurants - and a bottle shop! This was our second visit and we hope to return next year.

Great house in a perfect location. The house has everything you need. We have stayed here three times and love it. Close to the shops and Wanda beach. Clean and tidy with a great feel.

Wanda Magic is just that Magic - position is exceptional, house is comfortable and easy to relax. There are 2 things missing - a clothes dryer & wifi. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in while travelling ...better than home. The views are beautiful and just a few steps down to the beach.

This is a lovely older style property in a great location. Not quite beachfront but the pricing reflects this. The walk a few metres down the track is easy and the views from the house are magnificent. Everything is comfortable and fuss free. Beds were comfy.

A couple of things re maintenance: - During the week we were there we had heavy rain and water leaked in through the top of the bathroom window. Noticed some weeds growing in gutters, so maybe a guttering/roofing issue - bedside light in master bedroom on wardrobe side has faulty switch - washing machine seal mouldy - needs a thorough clean; shower door seal mouldy; some mould on the ceiling of the 2 x single bedroom - DVD player doesnt seem to be connected to tv, so couldn't watch any DVDs

This is an excellent house with a great feel about it. Well appointed and fantastic views and amenities. We will be back.

What a beautiful holiday house. The view along the beach, the lorakeets in the trees, the comfy beds, the elegant styling - I just felt so relaxed for my stay there. Inside was a credit to the cleaners. Outside could do with a bit of maintenance. I will book again. Ann

We stayed at the property in December 2019. The place had stunning views and the separate bedroom felt like some sort of resort. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Only issue is that the glasses and cookware were quite dirty. Some of the pots and pans should be replaced as they are quite damaged from previous burning. Apart form that everything else was fabulous

Clean and tidy, had everything you need for a getaway, close to beach, shops, takeaway and main shopping mall. Will be differently booking again at this property.

A great location and house for a getaway with it all. We loved the house it is warm and very comfortable with everthing you need in it. Sensational views and the location is excellent. The house is very clean and well kept and so relaxing. We loved it and will be back. We did not want to leave.

My husband and I have stayed at "Wanda Magic" twice a year for several years. We have just returned from another two week stay there. What a wonderful holiday home and now made even better by the new owner with new furniture and in particular a new king size bed in the main bedroom in the house. Whilst the bed and pillows seemed very hard when we first used the bed we were converted after the first night and for the next two weeks had the best sleep we have had in ages. No neck or back ache. We have an expensive chiropractic bed at home and this bed was better. In fact we were so impressed with the pillows I purchased them for our own home! The conversion of the garage into a king size bedroom and bathroom is also a great move so the house now lends itself to couples as well. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need in a holiday home. The location is fabulous with only a one minute walk to Wanda Beach and about a 10 minute walk around the headland to another beach. The village shops are only a few minutes walk away. For those that want to venture further there is the Salamander Bay shopping mall which is about a 10 minute drive from the house. The house has great water views exactly as you see in the photos and the birdsong is amazing. We can think of no other place we would rather stay twice a year to give us a relaxing break from our jobs. Every time we open the door to the house for us it is like coming home - we feel so comfortable there. Do yourself a favour and book yourself a holiday at this property now.

This house is a great holiday house. Close to water and shops. This house has been given an uplift since my parents last stayed a year ago. The only down side for us was that both King beds are rock hard. They are a firm mattress with a thick topper on top. So uncomfortable and painful!! Its a shame the outside area isn't covered as it rained most of our stay and therefore had to sit inside even though the temp outside was still nice. If you can get past the uncomfortable beds this is a great little retreat/holiday house!!

We rented the house for one week and it instantly felt like home with amazing views to wake up to every morning. It has a great outdoor area to relax, cosy indoor setting and is close to both the shops and beach. The property was a comfortable and tidy place to stay. The only thing missing to make life easier is a dish washer. Highly recommended.
