Whispering Sands, 10 Sandy Point Road – Luxury waterfront home with aircon, WIFI & Foxtel

Air conditioned and open planned living areas have been designed for multiple families to be comfortable and experience great memories on their family holidays. Whispering Sands offers the versatility and space so everyone can be together but also provides cosy separate lounge areas for a relaxing timeout. From the moment you step into this luxurious property you will instantly feel indulged.

The central hub of the property is on the ground level, offering a modern kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, spectacular sun-drenched tiled atrium with BBQ and dining facilities, living area with LCD TV, Blu Ray Player, Foxtel and Free WIFI and to complete the package a fantastic billiard table – please note the fire place is not in use in this area.

Downstairs has the master bedroom featuring a split system air conditioner, water views and a private ensuite with walk-in shower. The second and third bedrooms are also located downstairs, they also boast their own split system air conditioners to make your holiday very comfortable. The large main bathroom has a walk-in shower, vanity and toilet and the convenience of having an internal laundry with a front loader washing machine and a clothes dryer which is in the single garage.

Upstairs features two more bedrooms both with their own split system air conditioning and the third bathroom with sleek finishes and a walk-in shower. There is also a fully equipped kitchenette with an induction cooktop, dishwasher, convection oven, dining for 6 people and living area with SMART TV.

Choosing whether to dine outside on the relaxed outdoor furniture by the water or inside in the comforts of air conditioning is a hard choice. Direct access to the sandy beach and shared grassed area is a perfect way to spend your days enjoying water sports or just a relaxed glass of wine looking at the view.

Corlette beach is known for the calm waters which provide the perfect conditions for paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming and sailing.

Behind the remote-controlled sliding security gate at the entrance there is a single garage and single carport and two off street spaces in the driveway that could also cater for a small boat.

Linen including sheets and bath towels are supplied at the property (beds not made), however you are required to bring beach towels. No pets allowed and strictly no party policy is in place.

Enjoy a swim, stand-up paddle board, kayaking, bike ride or wander around the point to discover a spectacular diving and snorkeling sanctuary, Stillwater is so central to everything, all you have to do is park the car and everything is at your fingertips.

Stillwater is a single storey home away from home and has everything your family will require including tiled open plan living area with a split system reverse cycle air conditioner, large flat screen TV and DVD, dining area with water views to the foreshore and beach.

Fully equipped kitchen with an upright stove/oven, microwave oven, full size fridge/freezer and cooking equipment.   The bathroom has a step-in glass shower, toilet and vanity and the main house offers an internal laundry with top loading washing machine and dryer.

Bedroom one is positioned at the front of the house and offers water views and provides two single beds, bedroom two is central with a double bed, bedroom three is also off the main living area with one single bed and bedroom four has one single bed plus a tri bunk (double underneath/ single above) and is located to the rear of the main house.

The air-conditioned granny flat which has cooling facilities only, is perfect for older teenagers or the extended family.  It is fully self-contained and located at the rear of the main house and provides a kitchen with a small fridge, microwave, bench-top mini oven with 2 x hot plates plus dining for 4 guests.  Main bedroom with a tri-bunk (double underneath/ single above) and one single bed and TV.   The bathroom, adjacent to the bedroom, has a step-in glass shower, vanity and toilet.  

There is a covered balcony area off the granny flat with outdoor dining and a gas BBQ in the courtyard.

The property has a level driveway for two vehicles and a small carport, parking on the street is paid parking only.

Sheets and towels are not provided at the property, you have the option to either hire or bring these with you, no pets and no party policy in place.

Oaks Pacific Blue, 245/265 Sandy Point Rd – air conditioned unit with resort facilities and linen supplied

Unit 245 is a two-bedroom dual-key lagoon spa room on the upper floor with stair access, the apartments have a main door access to the common foyer and then separate door access to each apartment.  The Studio Lagoon Apartment features an air conditioned, open plan bedroom/ dining/ kitchenette area which flows out onto the balcony with outdoor dining, so you can sit back and enjoy a drink and watch all the water activities in the pool. There is also a bathroom with shower, toilet, vanity and blow dryer available.  As this area is separate from the main apartment, we do not recommend children under 12 years to be left alone in the studio.

There is also the main apartment, which is a one Bedroom Lagoon Spa room, this section has an open plan, air-conditioned living/ dining and kitchen area.  The kitchen is fully equipped with complete cooking facilities, microwave and dishwasher. There is a large balcony with alfresco dining and a sunlounge so you can lay back, relax and take in the beautiful array of the resort. The main bedroom has an ensuite with a beautiful corner spa bath, walk in shower, toilet, vanity and a blow dryer is also provided.  

The apartment provides an internal laundry for your convenience, this is located in the kitchen area of the main apartment and is fitted out with a front loader washing machine, dryer and sink.  There are also two car spaces provided in the open carpark and the guests have full use of all the resort features including the huge lagoon-style swimming pool, heated spa pools, 25mtr heated lap pool, tennis courts and fitness centre. 

Pacific Blue Resort is conveniently located only 100m from Salamander Bay shopping centre, Salamander Tavern and across the road from Salamander Bay Super Strike and KFC and having Nelson Bay only a quick nine-minute drive away makes this the perfect place to holiday.

A flat 300 metre walk to the western end of Shoal Bay beach or 1.1km walk to Little Beach where you will find the calm waters which are perfect for children and a lovely grass area which has fantastic free BBQ facilities.  There is also a play area for the children, boat ramp, Little Beach Boathouse restaurant & Bar and the famous Bites on the Bay fish and chip take away.  Fingal Bay is only a quick 9-minute drive away, Fingal Bay has the surf club and is a patrolled beach.

Idle Days is the perfect beach side holiday destination for a large family or two families that are wanting to holiday together.  Spanning over two levels and providing air conditioning, several entertaining areas and a large back yard that is perfect for the children to run and play. 

Upstairs is stylishly designed with floating floorboards, an open plan living area with a SMART TV, WIFI, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, full family size fridge/freezer, microwave and full cooking facilities.  There is also two bedrooms and a renovated modern bathroom with walk in shower, vanity and toilet and a gorgeous outdoor undercover area with comfy sun lounges and ceiling fan to relax, unwind and take in the tranquil surroundings.

Downstairs offers a self-contained flat with a queen size sofa bed lounge in the living area and a kitchenette with full size fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave, crockery, cutlery and electric hot plate.  There is also a separate room with a queen size bed and another separate room with a large renovated bathroom with a glass shower, toilet and vanity.   The back yard is large and leafy and there is also a cute undercover small pergola that provides a gas BBQ, small table and chairs.  The external laundry is situated underneath the back stairs and there is also a long pebble driveway that offers ample room for several cars and a boat.

Baggies on Dutchies, 9 Burbong Street – large house with aircon, boat parking & waterviews

Baggies on Dutchies is only a short 200m walk to Dutchmans Beach and Reserve which is renowned for the calm waters and perfect swimming conditions for children. The reserve has a fantastic childs playground, grass picnic area with tables and chairs and free BBQ facilities.

Walk out the front door of Baggies on Duchies and you are on the famous Bridal Pathway, this path is very popular for walking and cycling. Only 1.5kms the path leads all the way into Nelson Bay CBD and the dAlbora Marina where you will find many restaurants, cafes, boutique shops and an abundance of exciting aquatic activities.

The two-storey house has beautifully landscaped gardens and is designed to accommodate two families, it offers comfortable furnishings throughout and great indoor/outdoor living areas.

Upstairs is the air-conditioned open plan living and dining area has a ceiling fan and filtered water views with glass sliding doors that open out onto the full-length undercover balcony with outdoor dining. Also, on this level are two of the bedrooms with the main bedroom having a ceiling fan and access to the balcony.


There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and full-size fridge/freezer and plenty of bench space to prepare meals. The main bathroom is located on the upstairs level, it has a fabulous corner spa bath, glass shower, vanity and toilet. Also on this level there is a laundry with a front loader washing machine, dryer and the third toilet.

A spiral staircase leads from upstairs down to the second living area which has a split system air conditioner and kitchenette with another fridge/freezer. Opening off from the second living area is the full-length covered verandah and outdoor lounge overlooking the front grassed yard. Downstairs there is also the third and fourth bedrooms and another bathroom with a standard size bath, separate shower, vanity and toilet. 

The double carport parking for the property is via Government Road (Corner Burbong St and Government Rd)
