Go Koala spotting

Port Stephens Council in partnership with Port Stephens Koalas Hospital have created a Koala Sanctuary for the long-term rehabilitation, preservation and conservation of koalas in the wild.

Opened daily, the sanctuary lets you:

• Spend an hour or a night immersed in an idyllic natural koala habitat.
• Support the provision of long-term, first-class care to sick, injured and orphaned koalas.
